ESTATE LAW - Frequently Asked Questions
How can my Will protect my young children?
You can instruct your lawyer to include a clause creating a trust for your children to be used for educational or other purposes. The child's share of your estate can be held in trust until he or she reaches a certain specified age. During that time, the Trustee can be given authority to use the funds in the trust for the benefit of the child.
