Like most, your first stop will be to see a real estate agent. Traditionally realtors were the agents of the vendor. However, real estate agents, who are working with buyers, are now under an obligation not to disclose confidential information that has been told to them. Although your agent is working for you, it is wise to remember that the commission is still likely to be paid by the vendor.
